Aldi opening two new stores in South London by the end of 2021

The German supermarket chain has unveiled the locations of 15 new stores coming to the UK by the end of the year - two of them are landing in South London

Aldi have announced 15 locations set to become home to new stores across the United Kingdom and two of them are opening in South London.

One will be unveiled in Cheam which is a town in the London Borough of Sutton.

The other will serve the Orpington area that is situated in Bromley.

This is a part of the German grocer’s ambitious £1.3 billion project to open 100 new stores across the country in the next two years - Aldi already has more than 930 UK stores.

The supermarket chain is also opening new outlets in locations such as Bedlington, Poole, Windsor and Edinburgh.

Each of the two new South London stores are set to create 30 jobs each and store assistants will earn up to £11.32 per hour with paid breaks included.

Aldi have only recently opened its 50th London outlet in Dalston as the chain continues their investment in expanding their reach in the capital.
