Roskilde Festival 2023: West London rapper Central Cee among acts performing at Danish non-profit festival
Central Cee has been named among 34 new acts who will perform at this year’s Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
The non-profit Danish event is due to return between 24 June and 1 July this year with a host of innovative and progressive acts.

Hide AdWest London rapper Central Cee, 24, is best known for his melodic and upbeat approach to UK drill and rose to prominence in 2020 with the release of the singles "Day in the Life" and "Loading".
In 2022, he became the first UK rapper to achieve 1 billion Spotify streams in a single year.
Other artists added to the lineup include Lil Nas X, Rosalía, Fever Ray, GloRilla, J.I.D and Rema.
Roskilde Festival’s head of programme, Anders Wahrén, said: “The acts added today share the courage to believe in a bright and diverse future. They offer unique perspectives and solutions to looming challenges, and we share a common goal: to promote and uncover new and engaging youth communities and activities.”

It is a testament to Roskilde Festival’s position as one of the biggest European festivals that our program embodies diversity, progressive artists and some of the world’s biggest stars.”
Previously, the festival announced Blur, Burna Boy, Christine & The Queens, Japanese Breakfast and Rina Sawayama as part of the 2023 line-up.
