Nicola Adams is joined by her uncle at the European premiere for Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Nicola Adams was among the stars who were given the opportunity to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ahead of its cinematic release on Thursday night.
The former boxer, 40, from Leeds, was accompanied to the film premiere in London by her uncle, whilst girlfriend Ella Baig stayed at home with their three-month-old son.

Hide AdNicola donned a buttoned up shirt, a double breasted green blazer, smart black trousers and leather Doc Marten boots. She was joined by her uncle, Robert Ottley, who looked stylish in an all-black suit.

The European premiere for the upcoming Marvel film was held at Cineworld in Leicester Square, with countless celebrities posing for photos on its iconic ‘black carpet’.
Nicola shared a reel to Instagram, telling her 187,000 followers: “The movie was amazing, it had everything fun, action and drama.”
She also shared a snap of her uncle smiling with television presenter Maya Jama, who wore a tight red maxi dress and a huge statement necklace.

Hide AdThe cast of the upcoming superhero film were at the premiere including Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Michaela Coel and Danai Gurira, who each opted for long black dresses.
Florence Kasumba, who wore a colourful number, and Martin Freeman posed for pictures with the film’s director Ryan Coolger.


Love Island couple Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, also attended the London event in co-ordinated green and black fits. As did television presenter AJ Odudu and rapper Lethal Bizzle.
Those at the premiere got to watch Black Panther: Wakanda forever ahead of it’s cinemas release on Friday 11 November 2022.

The sequel begins with the fictional African nation mourning the sudden loss of its beloved King T’Challa (Black Panther), who died from an unknown illness.
The original Black Panther was played by the late Chadwick Boseman, who sadly died two years ago following a battle with colon cancer.
Following his death in August 2020, Nicola paid tribute to the “hero” actor on Twitter, describing him as “a superhero that represented our skin colour”.
