British Fashion Awards 2022: Rita Ora among best dressed after opting for bizarre fish gills and a sheer dress

Rita Ora opted for a quirky make-up look complete with prosthetic fish gills attached to her face, as she stepped out for the British Fashion Awards.
The pop singer, 32, who lives in London, attended the annual star-studded ceremony at The Royal Albert Hall on Monday night.

Hide AdShe paired a red sheer gown by Alabanian womenswear designer Nensi Dojaka, with a risque red thong and coordinating stilettos.



Alongside the all-on-show dress and dazzling earrings, Rita styled her hair in simple waves and bleached her eyebrows.
Bleached brows have taken the fashion world by storm this year after dominating the Met Gala and being spotted on the likes of Julia Fox and Kylie Jenner.
Rita, who has over 16million followers, showcased her unconventional look on her Instagram story as she tagged make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench.

Hide AdThe Singer also took time to pose for selfies with fellow musicians Burna Boy and Stormzy at the prestigous event.
Rita was chosen as number 43 on Vogue’s list of the 54 best-dressed guests alongside the likes of Stormzy in Burberry, Florence Pugh in Valentino and AJ Odudu in Stella McCartney.
The British Fashion Awards aims to showcase both British and international individuals and businesses, who have made the most outstanding contributions to the fashion industry during the year.


The ceremony has been held annually since 1989, and this year Jodie Turner-Smith was the host.

Hide AdThe actress had several costume changes throughout the evening, starting with a neon green Gucci dress on the red carpet.
Elsewhere, Naomi Campbell put on a glamorous display in a sweeping caped gown and Maya Jama looked elegant in a thigh-split black dress.
The new Love Island host, 28, added a hat to draw attention to herself, while Florence Pugh looked equally chic in a jaw-dropping red gown.
