Wimbledon: Four-year-old boy in ‘life-threatening condition’ after being hit by car near Underground station

A four-year-old boy is in hospital after being hit by a car outside an Underground station in Wimbledon.

Emergency services were called at 11.38am on Sunday morning, where medics rushed the child to hospital.

Police said the child remains in a potentially life-threatening condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish how the collision occurred.
