Local shoppers were out in force, with customers eagerly queueing up to get a first look at the new store at The Pavilions Shopping Centre.

Of course, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting was held to officially mark the store’s opening.

The first person in the queue received an exclusive prize bundle including an air fryer, electric blanket, and festive decorations, while the first 50 shoppers in line received goody bags containing a selection of Wilko favourites.

Throughout the event, customers also had the chance to ‘spin the wheel’ for exciting prizes, with eager shoppers bagging gift cards and pick-n-mix vouchers.

Spanning approximately 30,000 square feet, the new two-storey Uxbridge store offers shoppers a wide range of Wilko’s signature products across key categories including cleaning and laundry, decorating and DIY, home and garden, and pet care.

Shoppers can also get their hands on everything they need for Christmas with a selection of Wilko’s much-loved own-brand products and popular name brands housed in the store.
