What will the weather be like in London over October half-term break 2021?

Heavy rainfall on Tuesday resulted in the flooding of London Bridge.

While the beginning of this week might not have brought with it the weather many were hoping for there was reason to remain hopeful as, according to weather experts, Londoners can look forward to a sun baked mid-term break and beyond.

Times do not seem as bleak as the city heads closer towards half-term which takes place late next month.

This is despite the holiday , with weather expected to get off to a wet and damp start.

Mainstream weather service, AccuWeather is forecasting an initial three days of rainfall taking place between October 22 and October 26.

It will last an estimated six hours, with highs of 6.5mm and 16℃.

The rest of October will be consistently sunny and dry, despite reports of mild temperatures ranging from either 12℃ or 13℃ along with winds and cloudy skies.

With only three months of the year remaining, weather organisation Climate Data have confirmed that these conditions will continue, aside from an estimated 26 rainy days from October to December.

Winter temperatures are on the horizon for London heading towards the last two months of the year, with the average temperature recorded at 7.8℃ and 5.3℃  respectively.
