UPDATE: Flood Warnings remain in place for London with windy weather on the way

Flood Warnings issued by Environment Agency are still in place all across the UK. London can expect more wind, showers and colder weather as the week comes to an end.

London will experience some colder temperatures and windy weather for the rest of the week.

Some sunny spells are expected to break up the grim weather as the week comes to an end.

After a brighter but colder day, London can expect more dry weather as we progress into the evening.

The temperature is set to decline throughout the day making for a cold night. Winds are due to ease off and become lighter in all regions except for northerly areas.

The maximum temperature today is expected to be 12°C.

Friday

The end of this week is set to become breezier with patchy clouds and some light showers across all areas. Winds and showers are expected to ease as we come into the evening.

The maximum temperature is 14°C

Saturday to Monday

Brighter weather is due to arrive for the weekend. The forecast suggests dry weather for most of the weekend.

Western areas can expect cloudy and patchy rain showers on Sunday afternoon.

Going into next week you can expect sunny spells with scattered rain showers throughout all of Monday.

Much of the weather across the UK is expected to stay unsettled over the next few weeks. With the Met Office reporting that there is a likelihood of snow and winter conditions in northern areas.
