London weather: Exact date it's expected to snow in the capital next week

The Apple Weather App is forecasting snow in the capital on Tuesday (January 27).

Snow could be making a comeback in the capital next week, according to weather app forecasts.

Apple’s built in weather forecast shows snow could fall in London early next Tuesday (January 27).

The city is expected to get a dusting of snow in the early morning but it won’t last for long as rain is set to wash it away just before midday.

No further snow is forecast across the rest of the week at this time on the Apple weather app.

London kicked off the new year with snow as parts of the city were blanketed thanks to storm Goretti’s arctic blast.

While Apple’s weather forecast has predicted light snow for next week, both the Met Office and BBC have not.

Instead, despite next week expected to be colder in the capital, The Met Office has said it will stay rainy in London.

The meteorological service’s look out for next week explains: “Turning colder from Monday, with rain spreading in early on Tuesday, perhaps heavy at times.”
