London weather Saturday and Sunday: How hot will it get today and will there be thunder?

With the city prepped for a proper summer weekend, Londoners are making plans for the parks, lidos and beer gardens.
In the past few days forecasts have been calling temperatures approaching 30C on Saturday and Sunday (June 10-11).

The Met Office
The Met Office has the temperature reaching 29C today - but warns: “Chance of heavy showers or thunderstorms developing later, these most likely to the west and north of London. Maximum temperature 30C.”
The service suggests possible thunder at around 2pm.
On Sunday temperatures could reach 30C or even 31C elsewhere in the South East.
BBC Weather
The BBC has temperatures hitting 29C on Saturday, with a chance of rain throughout the afternoon. A “clap of thunder cannot be ruled out”.

Weather.com is forecasting a mere 28C maximum on Saturday and Sunday. It seems more relaxed about the chance of thunder - but “potential disruption due to thunderstorms” remains.
AccuWeather
Accuweather is calling 30C at around 3pm, with a strong chance of thunder in the evening.
On Sunday, the service says it could reach 29C, adding: “Clouds and sun with showers and a heavier t-storm; very warm; thunderstorms could bring damaging winds, flash flooding and hail.” (blimey)
