London snow 2023: Video as first flakes of winter fall in the capital - will it snow more?

The first flakes of snow fell in north London this winter on Friday (December 1).
A light flurry was captured in Islington at around midday, but although the Met Office forecasts temperatures dropping below zero overnight, it does not expect heavy snowfall in the capital.

Friday is forecast to remain dry for the rest of Friday. Temperatures are expected to drop to -1°C in the early hours of Saturday morning (December 2).
A light drizzle is expected in the early hours of Sunday and temperatures could rise to 5°C.
Sunday could see hill snow in the South East.
