Bonfire night London weather forecast - good news but expect colder temperatures

London is gearing up to celebrate bonfire night for the first time since 2019 - here’s how the weather is shaping up.

London can brace itself for a cold, but more importantly, a dry bonfire night, according to the Met Office.

For the first time since 2019, Londoners, like people all over the UK can celebrate bonfire night with a little more freedom, and the weather will be on their side as this Friday is set to be dry.

It will be a bitterly cold morning in the capital, with most waking up to 5C temperatures. However, at 9am, you can enjoy an some sun, uninterrupted by clouds until later in the morning.

At around mid-day, the temperature will be approximately 9C but the sun will disappear, and that will remain the theme right up until nightfall. Cloudy, dry and cold.

A higher temperature on Friday will come at around 3pm, at 10C with the coldest part of the day long gone by then.

At 9pm, the temperature will drop slightly to 8C.

Sunrise is at 07:00, and the sun will set over London at 16:27.

Wind speeds are expected to be as normal, so overall, a positive forecast for London for bonfire night.
