Victoria Station bus crash - everything we know so far about 'distressing incident'
Several people have been injured in a bus crash outside Victoria Station this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a ‘distressing incident’ outside Victoria Station this morning (4th September).

Several pedestrians and passengers have been injured after a double-decker bus mounted the pavement during rush hour.
The incident occurred at around 8:20am, and emergency services rushed to the scene soon after.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene, including numerous ambulance crews, advanced paramedics, a fast‑response car, a clinical team manager, an incident response officer, and a command support vehicle, along with London’s Air Ambulance. London Fire Brigade and police units also arrived promptly.
Authorities confirmed no fatalities have been reported at this stage, and no arrests have been made.
Met Police have said an investigation is ongoing and they are working alongside TfL. The road remains closed, with traffic diverted from the area.

The front of the bus was visibly damaged, with the windscreen shattered. A trail of diesel spilling down Allington Street prompted police to ban smoking in the immediate area due to fire risk.
TfL's Head of Bus Service Delivery, Rosie Trew, has extended her thoughts to those affected and said support is being made available.
She emphasised TfL’s commitment to collaborating with the police and the operator to investigate the cause of the crash urgently.
