Travelodge budget-luxe hotel upgrades 2023: 20 London locations given a major redesign - how to book

Travelodge has successfully completed the first phase of its budget-luxe hotel upgrade roll-out programme, with 20 London hotels receiving a major redesign. Over the past three years, the chain has transformed 65 hotels across the UK in the first phase of upgrades which represent a multi-million investment for the group.

The hotels have undergone a complete transformation to feature the group’s new budget-luxe premium look and feel design. The new Travelodge budget-luxe design features a number of sustainable initiatives, including carpet made from recycled fishing nets and plastic bottles, low energy lighting installed throughout the hotel with motion sensing controls and aerated showers and taps in the en-suite bathrooms.

Earlier this year, Travelodge announced that it was set on transforming its core brand product to a new budget-luxe premium look and feel design - whilst maintaining its great value price proposition. The hotel chain also intends to roll out this new design across its estate in a phased roll-out programme.
