Travellers staying at a London hotel can pick up a set of Travelodge's "specially designed" festive pyjamas.

With an eye on Instagram opportunities, the Christmas PJs feature a striking take on the firm's logo.

They are available for guests at the London City location, in Aldgate, as well as Travelodges at Manchester Upper Brook Street, Birmingham Central Bullring, Cardiff Queen Street and Glasgow Queen Street.

Be warned though, the promotion comes with a condition that "the guest shall not do anything whilst wearing the Prize that could negatively impact Travelodge’ image or brand", including content which is "obscene" or "vulgar". So keep those Insta posts clean.

Travelodge's "head of festive fun" said: “Inspired by the pages of Vogue, the catwalks of Paris and our very own hotel rooms we are excited to bring guests some fashionable festive cheer with our truly unique Christmas PJs. If you’re a scenester or trend setter, you’ll want to get your hands on these limited edition PJs and snap the ultimate selfie. So be quick because once they’re gone, they’re gone, so better get a Travelodge this Christmas.”

Travelodge said the hotel’s logo "often causes debate on whether it depicts hills and sunset or a sleeping person". The company said it is now confirmed to be a person under a duvet as they are "seen adorned with a new Santa hat" (though it is clearly both).

How to get Travelodge pyjamas

The pyjamas are available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, X Large and XX Large. They will be available to guests staying overnight on a first come, first served basis at five Travleodges: London City, Manchester Upper Brook Street, Birmingham Central Bullring, Cardiff Queen Street and Glasgow Queen Street.

All guests have to do is head to reception and claim the ‘Jingle Bells offer’ at which point they can ask for their desired size.

Travelodge pyjamas conditions

The terms and conditions can be viewed on the Travelodge website.

They state: "In receiving the Prize, the Guest shall not do anything whilst wearing the Prize that could negatively impact Travelodge’ image or brand including but not limited to publicising any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, or content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights)."
