TfL: Victoria and Piccadilly line severe Tube delays during rush hour today - Wednesday August 9

Transport for London (TfL) reported delays on two Tube lines on Wednesday morning (August 9). They had largely cleared by 9am.

On the Piccadilly Line there were severe delays between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due to an earlier signal failure at Ickenham.

Severe delays were reported along the Victoria line, due to an earlier faulty train at Warren Street.

There are also planned closures affecting the Bakerloo line, the London Overground and the Tram service.

Victoria line - latest

8.50am - minor delays due to an earlier faulty train at Warren Street. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses.

Bakerloo line - latest

Monday July 31 to Thursday August 10, no service between Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone.

London Overground - latest

Sunday July 31 to Thursday August 10, no service between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction. London North Western Railway services will continue to serve Euston, Harrow & Wealdstone, Bushey and Watford Junction. In addition, they will call at Wembley Central on Monday to Friday. Southern services will call at Wembley Central, Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction. Special London Buses services operate.

Tram - latest

Friday August 4 to Sunday August 13, no service between Wimbledon and Therapia Lane. Replacement buses operate between Wimbledon and Waddon Marsh.
