TfL London Overground: Trains cancelled between Liverpool Street and Chingford after second tree falls

Liverpool Street station faced further train cancellations on Tuesday morning (April 16) after a second tree fell on overhead wires.

Today, National Rail reports that a tree caught on the overhead electric wires between Walthamstow Central and Wood Street means that all lines are currently closed between Liverpool Street and Chingford.

Transport for London (TfL) says London Overground services are suspended between Hackney Downs and Chingford.

Disruption is expected until 2.15pm.

People are advised to check before they travel.

Customers may be entitled to compensation. Further information is available on the National Rail website.
