Fans flocking to see The Weeknd at Wembley Stadium later today (August 18) are being warned to avoid two nearby stations, which are closed due to overcrowding and industrial action.
Wembley Park, which is on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, is just a 10 minute stroll away, and remains open for gig-goers to use.

In an online update, the train operator wrote: “Wembley Central station can’t accommodate the usual number of passengers, as the local London Overground and Bakerloo Line services have been suspended for engineering works. Other trains, including Southern services, would be overwhelmed by the potential number of people wishing to use them. As a result, it is not safe to call at this station after 15.15.”
It added customers may be entitled to compensation, if they experience a delay in completing their journey.
Wembley Stadium station is also shut, with operator Chiltern saying this is due to RMT industrial action. It is due to reopen on Saturday, August 19.
