Londoners travelling into the capital this weekend could be faced with disruption due to closures on Tube and rail services.
Transport for London (TfL) has asked Londoners to check before they travel.

London Underground
Bakerloo line
Thursday August 8
No service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone
Use local and temporary bus services to connect with alternative Tube routes via the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines.
Customers for central London can also use London Northwestern Railway services from Watford Junction, Bushey, Wembley Central or Harrow & Wealdstone. These services will continue to run during the works.
Temporary bus routes 718, 719 and 720 will be available during the closure period:

Thursday August 8
No service between Euston and Watford Junction

For Shadwell and Wapping, use local bus route D3 from Whitechapel. For Rotherhithe, use local bus routes C10 or 381 from Canada Water or Bermondsey.
Rail replacement buses will run between Dalston Kingsland and New Cross Gate, and between Canada Water and Clapham Junction. A Southern Railway replacement bus service will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace. This is due to TfL projects.
Sunday August 11
No service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction until 9.30am
Use local bus routes. Southern Railway trains will also not run during this time. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Hide AdLondon Overground services between Liverpool Street and Chingford will not call at Bethnal Green until after 11.30pm
Use alternative London Overground, Tube services or local bus routes. Customers for Bethnal Green should change at Hackney Downs on a train to/from Enfield Town or Cheshunt. This is due to Network Rail structural maintenance work.
Monday 12 until Thursday August 15
No service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 10.15pm each night
After this time, West Croydon train services will divert to Crystal Palace. Use local bus routes, tram or Southern Railway services. This is due to Network Rail maintenance work.

Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing from 11pm on Saturday until 9.15am on Sunday

No service between Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal
Use local bus routes or Southeastern Railway services between Greenwich and Woolwich Arsenal. Rail replacement buses will run between Canning Town and King George V/London City Airport.

From 12pm until 1.30pm, a guard of honour is taking place on Horse Guards Parade. Traffic holds will be implemented on Birdcage Walk when required during the event.
The Oval
From 10.30am until 7pm, The Oval will host The Hundred cricket tournament. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Friday August 9
Trafalgar Square
From 11am until 6pm, a demonstration will take place outside the High Commission of Uganda. Large crowds are expected.

Gunnersbury Park
From 2pm until 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 2pm until 10pm on Sunday, Gunnersbury Park will host a music festival. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.

From 2pm until 10.30pm each day, Crystal Palace Bowl will host a music festival. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Morden Park
From 3.30pm until 11.30pm each day, Morden Park will host a music festival. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.

From 9am until 6pm, a cycling event will take place through central London. The event has multiple starting points in King's Cross, Paddington and Croydon, and finishes at Mile End. Large crowds, increased traffic levels and delays are expected.

Edgware Road/Connaught Street
From 6am until 11am, traffic holds will be in place on Edgware Road between Seymour Street and Burwood Place while filming takes place. Increased traffic levels and delays are expected.
Uxbridge Road
From 7am until 5pm, Uxbridge Road will be closed between High Street and Northfield Avenue. Additional localised road closures will also be in place.

O2 Arena
From 6.30pm until 10.30pm each night, the O2 Arena will host Justin Timberlake in concert. Large crowds and increased traffic levels are expected.
Until Tuesday August 13
A4 Great West Road
Between 10pm and 5am each night until Tuesday August 13, the A4 Great West Road will be closed overnight between Chiswick Roundabout and the junction with Ealing Road. Plan ahead and allow more time for your journey. Signed diversion routes will be in place. This is due to urgent National Highways work.
Lille Road/Old Brompton Road
Until Sunday August 18, Lille Road/Old Brompton Road will be closed in both directions between the junctions of Seagrave Road and Eardley Crescent for Thames Water works.

There will be two separate directional closures of Whitehall for works by Westminster City Council.
Work will take place Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, and Saturdays between 8am and 1pm, starting on the southbound carriageway from the junction with Trafalgar Square, before moving to northbound from Wednesday August 14, from the junction with Great Scotland Yard.
While the closures are in place, all traffic including some bus services will be on diversion. Follow the official diversion routes, check before you travel and leave more time for your journey.
