TfL Tube disruption Sunday: Elizabeth line among 6 services with delays and closures on October 26

The Elizabeth line and the Central line were among the TfL services disrupted on Sunday November 26.

A mixture of planned Transport for London (TfL) closures and unplanned delays meant six services were not fully operating on Sunday morning (November 26).

Passengers are advised to check the TfL website before setting off today.

Elizabeth line

No Elizabeth line service is running on Sunday between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow (all terminals). Use London Underground or London Buses services.

Between 7.40am and 12.40pm no service is running between Slough / Heathrow (all terminals) and Abbey Wood / Stratford. Trains will operate between Liverpool Street National Rail station and Shenfield, not serving Whitechapel. Use London Underground connections between Central London and Ealing Broadway, and for Heathrow. Replacement buses operate, but will not serve Acton Main Line, West Ealing or Hanwell - use local London Buses services. Iver will also not be served.

Replacement bus services operate between Slough and Ealing Broadway.

London Overground

There is no London Overground service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon. Alternative London Overground trains operate between Highbury & Islington, Canonbury and Dalston Kingsland. Use Southern trains for stations between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace. Replacement buses operate.

Until 10.15am there is no service between Liverpool Street and Chingford. Use local London Buses and London Underground connections. Replacement buses operate between Hackney Downs and Chingford.

Until 10.15am there is no service between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town / Cheshunt. Use local London Buses and London Underground connections between Liverpool Street and Seven Sisters. Replacement buses operate between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town / Cheshunt.

No service is running between Willesden Junction and Camden Road (via West Hampstead). Replacement buses operate. A special train service operates between Willesden Junction (Low Level) and Stratford via Kensal Green, Queens Park, Kilburn High Road, South Hampstead, Camden Road and all stations. Additional trains run between Camden Road and Stratford. The 9.38pm train from Stratford to Willesden Junction will terminate at Queens Park at 10.08pm. The 10.13am train from Willesden Junction to Stratford will start from Queens Park at 10.18pm.

A reduced service is operating between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside, with trains every 20 minutes.

Central line

TfL reports minor delays on the Central line due to a "shortage of trains".

District Line

The District line is experiencing severe delays between Earl's Court and Wimbledon / Kensington (Olympia) due to a signal failure at Parsons Green. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses and South Western Railway.

There are minor delays between Earl's Court and Edgware Road due to faulty communications equipment at High Street Kensington.

Piccadilly line

No Piccadilly line service is running between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement bus service PL4 operates between Acton Town and Rayners Lane via Ealing Common, North Ealing, Hanger Lane (for Central line and Park Royal), Alperton, Sudbury Town, Sudbury Hill and South Harrow.

There is no service between Heathrow Terminals 23 and Heathrow Terminal 5. Connecting replacement buses operate.

Waterloo & City line

The Waterloo & City line operates Monday to Friday between 6am and 12.30am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and on public/bank holidays.
