Passengers using the Elizabeth line service at Heathrow faced significant disruption on Wednesday morning (February 7).

At 8.30am Transport for London (TfL) reported severe delays between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow Terminals due to an earlier track fault in the airport area.

TfL said London Underground is accepting tickets via any reasonable route and that there was a good service on the rest of the line. On the Tube, the Central line had minor delays, due to an ongoing "shortage of trains" that has plagued the service all year. TfL recently told LondonWorld it apologised for the issue, while the transport commissioner wrote that he expects improvements in "the coming weeks".

The Bakerloo Line was experiencing minor delays due to an earlier faulty train at Baker Street.
