TfL travel: Elizabeth line severe delays and Central and District line disruption on Thursday

Commuters on TfL Tube services should check before they travel, with disruption on services including the Elizabeth line.

Part of the Elizabeth line was experiencing severe delays once again on Thursday morning.

Commuters also experienced disruption on the Central and District lines, according to Transport for London (TfL).

This was the picture as at 9am on December 28:

Elizabeth line

Severe Elizabeth line delays between Hayes & Harlington and Reading due to an earlier customer incident. TfL reported a good service on the rest of the line.

Central line

Minor Central line delays due to a "shortage of trains".

District line

Until Monday January 1, there is no District line service between Earls Court and Kensington Olympia.

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

From Wednesday to Saturday (December 27-30) there is no DLR service between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf. Replacement buses operate between Tower Gateway and Canary Wharf.

London Overground

Up to and including Friday (December 29) there is no London Overground service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate/New Cross/Clapham Junction. Replacement buses operate.

There is no service today between Sydenham and West Croydon. For Norwood Junction, use Southern connections to/from Crystal Palace. Use local buses for Penge West, Anerley and West Croydon.

No service today between Camden Road and Stratford. Replacement buses operate.
