Euston train cancellations to Manchester Piccadilly after signalling issue near Watford

Passengers between London and Manchester face disruption and delays throughout Monday morning (April 22).

An earlier signalling fault between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central closed lines, but they have since reopened.

Disruption between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly is expected to last until 1pm.

Avanti West Coast will be running a reduced service between the stations. Where services are canclled, tickets will be valid on the Avanti West Coast train immediately before or after the cancelled one.

The 9.13am from Euston is already cancelled according to National Rail.

Tickets can be used on CrossCountry services between Manchester Piccadilly and Stafford in both directions, as well as on London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston and Crewe.

Customers may be entitled to compensation for delays, with information available via the National Rail website.
