Elizabeth line delays: TfL Paddington, Reading and Shenfield severe delays

Severe delays are hitting the Elizabeth line to Heathrow, Reading and Shenfield on Thursday morning (July 27).

UPDATE 11.30am: TfL reports just minor delays now between Paddington and Abbey Wood / Reading / Heathrow Terminals due to the earlier signalling systems failure, with a ‘good service’ on the rest of the line.

Passengers are facing severe delays on the Elizabeth line on Thursday morning (July27) due to a signalling systems failure.

TfL is reporting major delays between Paddington and Heathrow’s terminals as well as to Reading.

Further severe delays are reported between Whitechapel and Shenfield.

Between Paddington and Abbey Wood there are minor delays.

Services to Heathrow and Reading will depart from Paddington National Rail platforms.

Tickets are being accepted by London Underground, London Buses, Great Western and Southwestern train services.
