TfL: Elizabeth line severe delays: Tottenham Court Road 'emergency works'

The Elizabeth line suffered severe disruption on Thursday morning due to emergency works at Tottenham Court Road in central London.

Transport for London (TfL) was reporting severe delays on the Elizabeth line on Thursday morning (October 19).

According to TfL, severe delays Abbey Wood in the east and Reading and Heathrow Terminals in the west is due to earlier emergency engineering work at Tottenham Court Road.

TfL reports minor delays on all other Elizabeth line routes.

Tickets are being accepted on London Underground, Buses, DLR, Southern, Thameslink and GWR via any reasonable route.
