Taiwo Balogun: Body of woman found in lake following search for missing Bexley Mum

The body of a woman has been found in a lake in Kent following a four week search for a missing mother from Bexley.

Taiwo Balogun, 53, was last seen in Crayford, Bexley on December 1.

The Met Police has reported that at 6.54pm on Friday (December 30) the body of a woman was recovered from a lake near Bluewater Shopping Centre in Dartford.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

While formal identification awaits, police have informed Taiwo’s family.

The death is currently being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.
