Internationally renowned football star Sir David Beckham celebrated his new title like a proper Londoner.

Hide AdThe sports star shared a selfie alongside his mum, with his 88.1M Instagram followers.
The post says: “Lunch with Mum, haven't seen her since the news. Mum cried when she arrived, cried during lunch, and cried when I was leaving. Special moment for us all. Love you, mum.”
He added to the caption: “(Dad’s next!)”
According to the post, he dined at Tony’s Pie and Mash in Waltham Abbey, where he is a regular visitor (when he’s not sunning it up in LA, that is).
The photo shows Sir David and his mum enjoying traditional East End fare, pie, mash, and liquor.

David Beckham was born born at Whipps Cross University Hospital in London on 2 May 1975, and raised in East London.
