Yesterday, Catherine, Princess of Wales, visited the new V&A East Storehouse at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The facility, which opened on 31st May 2025, reinvents the idea of a museum store and offers free, unprecedented public access to the V&A collections and archives.
The Princess looked cool and stylish in her matching navy blazer and trousers as she was shown around the new storehouse. Kate also wore statement jewellery and her signature locks looked sleek and shiny.
The Victoria & Albert’s new warehouse hosts an outstanding 500,000 artefacts. Inside, there are curated mini displays across all three levels of Storehouse.
V&A East Storehouse is a working museum store that’s open for you to explore. The building has been designed to get you closer than ever before to objects in the V&A collection and the behind-the-scenes work of the museum.
During her visit, Kate was given a guided tour around the Storehouse and spoke with directors and executives from the V&A.
