With all the votes now counted, Sadiq Khan has won a third term as mayor of London.
Votes were cast across the city on Thursday (May 2), and on Friday the release of turnout figures set tongues wagging, with fewer people voting in areas where Labour is thought to be popular.

Hide AdBut as the counts got under way on Saturday, it became clear that a shock was not on the cards.
In total, Susan Hall won 812,397 votes, well behind Sadiq Khan’s 1,088,225 - an increase in his margin in 2021.
The Labour success followed the trend across the country, with Sir Keir Starmer saying: “It’s time to turn the page on Tory decline and usher in a decade of national renewal with Labour.”
