Piccadilly, Case Luggage: 100 years in former museum for retailer

Egyptian House in Piccadilly has been home to a luggage store, now Case, for a century.

A retailer is celebrating 100 years at its central London home in a former museum.

Case Luggage, originally named Revelation, has been in Egyptian House, at 170 Piccadilly, since 1923.

The site, near Bond Street, was built in 1812 as Egyptian Hall to hold the collection of William Bullock.

Stephen Spitz, group CEO and chairman, said: “We are honoured to reach this milestone and to continue serving our customers after a century of operation.

“We are grateful for the loyalty of our customers and for the support of our community, and we look forward to continuing to provide them with the best possible products and service for many years to come.”

Nic Crossick, the group’s managing director, said: “The 100th anniversary is a testament to the store’s enduring commitment to providing customers with the highest quality luggage and travel accessories.

“We are proud to have reached this momentous occasion, and here’s to another century of exceptional service and customer satisfaction.”

As part of the 100th-anniversary celebrations, Case will be offering discounts and promotions throughout April.

One customer will win their purchase refunded when a competition is drawn in May.
