Why did she join Haim at their O2 concert?

Swift and the rock band have a long-standing history, as they opened for Swift during her 1989 tour in 2015.

The group also featured on Swift’s 2020 album Evermore, collaborating with the singer on the track “No Body, No Crime”.

It’s also possible that Swift came on because she missed performing, with the singer noting she hadn’t “been on stage in a very long time” also stating that it was “nice” to be back.

The band, which is made up of sisters, were halfway through singing their hit single ‘Gasoline’ where they took a break to introduce the superstar.

One member, Alana Haim said: “Wait, you guys. We’re in London, we can’t play in London without bringing out a special guest.

“Because not only is this person that I’m about to bring out the most incredible singer, songwriter, producer, f***** amazing person all around, she’s one of our close friends”

And then out came Swift to a chorus and screams and cheers.

However, that brief romance, that produced the iconic ‘I (Heart) T S’ t-shirt donned by Hiddlestone didn’t put Swift off pursuing romances with English actors, and she has since been in a long-term relationship with Londoner Joe Alwyn.

The pair first met at the Met Gala in 2016, and reportedly started dating a few months later in October of the same year.

In March 2021, it was reported that she was living in a £7million pad near Primrose Hill with her boyfriend, who is equally secretive about his private life.

Sources close to the people said that she and Alwyn wanted a bigger place to stay during their time in the UK, and it’s also reported that the house is close to her exes Harry Styles and Tom Hiddlestone, in the posh north London neighbourhood.

Styles dated Swift around 2012 when he was still a member of One Direction, whereas Hiddlestone dated her a few years later.
