Rio Ferdinand has claimed that he’s never seen David Beckham’s wife Victoria “eat anything”.

Co-host Jackie O Henderson admitted she “loves” Victoria, adding that she is “obsessed with what she eats” because the fashion designer is known to be a picky eater.

Rio claimed that he had “never seen her eat anything” but did confirm he would have meals with David and Victoria during England squad training.

Jackie then asked if the queen of WAGs was nice, to which the former footballer confirmed: “Yeah, she was always nice.”

Jackie’s co-host Kyle Sandilands joked: “You can’t be asking Rio about some other ex soccer player’s wife.”

In July last year, Victoria told Vogue Australia that David made her “sound boring” because he previously told a food podcast that her go-to dinner was fish and vegetables.

The mother-of-four told the publication what his comments on her diet really meant, she said: “What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat. I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing.”

She also explained that sometimes she goes three to six months without drinking alcohol, in order to “detox”.
