Maya Jama and Stormzy spark rumours that they’ve rekindled their romance after being spotted together

Maya Jama and Stormzy have left fans speculating that they are back together, after it was rumoured that they shared a kiss at the MTV European Music Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany, earlier this month.

The TV presenter, 28, from Bristol, and rapper, 29, from London, were seen in good spirits at last week’s GQ Awards in London, just days after they allegedly shared a kiss in Germany, whilst in the top tier VIP area at the MTV bash.

Although no cameras were allowed backstage, a source told The Sun: “Maya and Stormzy hooked up at one of the exclusive areas at the bash.”

“They were seen kissing and seemed totally into each other. There was a strict no-camera policy, which is why they seemed happy to be so open with their relationship.”

Another insider said that the former couple, who split after a four-year relationship, returned to the UK together after supposedly missing the flights they intended to take.

The source added: “They seemed very much in love when the spotlight was off them.”

“Maya changed her hotels at the awards and now it seems obvious it was because she wanted to be closer to Stormzy,” the insider said.

Last week, the new Love Island presenter and Vossi Bop rapper both attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2022 in London on Wednesday. It was reported that they were being very flirty with each other at the GQ Men Of The Year after-party in Knightsbridge.

Stormzy was allegedly heard telling friends that they were back together and spent ages deep in conversations with Maya at the after-party.

This comes after a period where the pair didn’t even see or speak to each other and Maya was engaged to Australian basketball player, Ben Simmons, 26, who she split with in August.

Stormzy has publicly addressed his heart-ache in an interview with GQ Magazine, saying: “I’d never experienced a break-up and the feelings that come with a break-up.

“And I never wanted to ever be in a position again where I felt what I was feeling. Because it showed me that I was a boy, and I do not want to go any further as a boy.

A representative for Maya dispelled rumours that the pair are in a relationship, telling MailOnline that the TV  presenter is “very much single” and remains great friends with her ex, who she has been spotted with on various occasions recently.
