Love Island 2023: Olivia and Maxwell dumped from the villa and given one final task in huge ITV show twist

Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda were handed one final task before packing their bags as they were dumped from the Love Island villa on Wednesday night.

The islanders were enjoying a day out at the Island Beach Club, and all was good until presenter Maya Jama arrived to “crash the party”.

Standing on a platform, the stunning brunette told the islanders to stand in their couples, before revealing that the public had been voting for the most compatible pairs.

The bottom four couples, who were at risk of being dumped, were Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook, Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad, and Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda.

It was quickly announced that the latter couple, who had just made their relationship exclusive, would be packing their bags and leaving the villa.

However, they wouldn’t be leaving alone.

In a shock twist for the reality series, Maya announced: “Two more islanders will also be dumped tonight. That decision is not down to the public, or your fellow islanders. It’s actually down to you, Olivia and Maxwell.”

The show ended on a cliffhanger with ITV2 viewers having to wait until tonight’s episode to see who the couple, that met in Casa Amor, will choose to leave alongside them.

It was not made clear whether Olivia and Maxwell have to choose from one of the three remaining vulnerable couples, based on the public vote, or whether all of the seven couples are at risk of being dumped.

During their day at the Island Beach Club, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan made things exclusive, whilst Claudia blasted Casey for kissing his new partner Rosie, just days after he ended things with her.

The huge decision also comes just a day after Olivia and Maxwell called out Jessie Wynter for being “ingenuine” in her relationship with Will Young.
