James Norton: who is the Happy Valley star’s famous actress fiancée from London?

Happy Valley has taken over our screens in recent weeks with James Norton reprising his starring role as notorious criminal Tommy Lee Royce in the BBC One hit crime drama.

The actor also had a major role in ITV series Grantchester as crime-solving vicar Sidney Chambers.

James, 37, from London, is set to tie the knot with a talented actress following their engagement last year.

Who is James Norton’s fiancée?

James is currently in a relationship with talented actress Imogen Poots, 33, who also hails from London.

The English actress and model has starred in films including 28 Weeks Later, Need for Speed and A Long Way Down.

She first appeared on screen in an episode of the British medical drama Casualty in 2004.

Imogen was named one of the “Most Desirable Women” by Askmen’s list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women in 2013.

How did James and Imogen meet?

Imogen and James met in 2017, whilst co-starring in a production of Belleville in the West End’s Donmar Warehouse.

The couple officially announced their relationship in 2018 as they cosied up on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

Since then, they have been inseparable, with Imogen recently moving into James’ home in South East London.

Prior to moving in with her boyfriend, she spent time travelling between New York and London for various film roles.

James was previously in a relationship with his War and Peace co-star Jessie Buckley between 2015 and 2017.
