Oxford Street: Watch - CCTV footage shows last known movements of missing Lewisham woman Jennifer Townsend

Police have released CCTV footage of the last known sighting of a vulnerable missing woman from Lewisham.

Jennifer Townsend, 63, was last seen on 4 December at her home by a family member.

But police say the last known sighting was more than a month later, on January 13, when she was captured on CCTV walking along Oxford Street in central London. She was wearing a blue backpack and pulling a black wheeled trolley or case.

The Met Police said in a statement: "There are concerns for Jennifer’s welfare including her mental health and police are keen to locate her."

The force said Jennifer has no known contacts in the area, but that officers believe she remains nearby.
