Lightning struck twice for Orpington’s Martin Hiett as he bagged a £70k Ford Mustang and £50k cash — his second BOTB jackpot
A kitchen builder from Orpington who won a £70,000 car and £50,000 cash in a spot the ball competition is going to use his new wheels to replace the car he's just sold - which he also won in a spot the ball competition.
Double winner Martin Hiett entered a £2 competition with the online prize draw firm BOTB to try and guess the precise location of a digitally-removed football on a photograph - and his luck struck twice this week, as he once again guessed the correct pixel.
His prize, a £70,000 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, was presented to him in front of his colleagues at Stoneham Kitchens in Sidcup, and they watched in awe as he was also handed a briefcase containing £50,000 in cash as a bonus.

Remarkably, in March 2022, Martin's workmates were also invited to down tools and watch him win his dream car at the time - a £34,000 Hyundai i30N Performance, which happened to have £40,000 in the boot.
Three and-a-half years later, Martin told the BOTB team as they handed him the keys to his new Mustang, that he had just sold the Hyundai - so he had every intention to keep the Ford, rather than take the cash alternative.
The car fanatic said: "I must admit I do miss the noise it makes, so that's why I entered to entered to win the Dark Horse.

"My favourite thing about the Mustang would be the fact they're a dying breed. You don't get many five-litre normally aspirated V8s, so that's why I went for it."
Martin now gets to choose the exact spec of his new car, which BOTB will order for him and deliver to him. The company will also help him pay for servicing, insurance, and fuel for the first year.
When asked what he planned to do with the £50,000 cash bonus, he initially said he would "put it straight in the bank" - but he confessed he and his wife had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, and a "mini break" might now be on the cards.

BOTB gives away life-changing prizes on a regular basis, with spot the ball competitions starting at less than £1, and prize draws costing pennies.
The latest line-up includes a £78,000 McLaren supercar, with tickets priced at just 19p, and the chance to win a £765,000 house in Surrey for just £1.
