Sadly, it’s not looking like London will see a White Christmas in 2024

The BBC’s long-range forecast has predicted the weather for Christmas Day in London.

Sadly at the time of publishing, there’s no snow on the horizon - in fact, it’s set to be quite the opposite.

The BBC weather forecast is predicting sunshine with a gentle breeze for the capital on December 25th.

Christmas week is set to be slightly damp overall with a gentle breeze (not a repeat of Storm Darragh, we hope!)

Here’s a breakdown of the Christmas 2024 weather forecast for London.

“Mainly unsettled conditions appear more likely than not for most, with spells of wind and rain followed by showers affecting most areas but especially towards the northwest of the UK. Some sleet and snow is also likely at times, especially on high ground in the north.

“However, there are also some signs that more settled conditions are possible at times, these perhaps most likely across the south late in December and into early January. Temperatures are likely to be around or slightly above average overall, but with any more settled interludes bringing a risk of frost and fog.”
