Despite the nights drawing in and the leaves turning gold, summer isn’t quite ready to leave us - and we’re more than ok about that.

To make the most of the last of the summer sun, be sure to head out to one of London’s parks or beer gardens for a celebratory sun-sesh.

According to the Met Office’s hourly forecast, London will be at its hottest at around 4pm, hitting highs of around 26 °C.

Here’s what the forecaster said: “Plenty of afternoon sunshine expected as cloud tends to break up through the morning—remaining dry and becoming warm, locally very warm. Brisk breeze in places at first, but easing later. Maximum temperature 26 °C.

“Tonight will be dry with some clear periods and light winds. Patchy low cloud and mist are likely to form in places into the early hours, but it will stay generally mild. Minimum temperature 13 °C.”

Unfortunately, the sunshine will be short-lived as scattered showers, grey skies and wind return to London for the weekend.

According to BBC Weather, tomorrow (Saturday) will be generally dry with spells of intermittent rain. The rain will contain some heavy bursts at various times throughout the day. The odd drier and brighter break is possible around evening.
