After what has felt like days of non-stop rain, London is set for a week of sunshine and warm weather.

According to the latest Met Office forecast, temperatures could get as high as 27C in the capital on Friday, 13th June.

Thousands of people will flock to the UK capital for the King’s Official Birthday celebrations and the Lido Festival in Victoria Park this weekend.

According to BBC Weather, there is a chance that heavy thunderstorms will break out across the South on Friday night, following a day of humid conditions.

The start of next week is set to be a warm one too with temperatures of around 25C expected on Monday and Tuesday.
