In particular tomorrow (April 4) is expected to be the hottest, with a high of 22C with Saturday set to continue the warm weather at 19C.
Despite the upcoming rise in temperatures in London, the period will be a mini heatwave rather than an official hot spell.
The Met Office defines a heatwave as an “extended period of hot weather relative to the expected conditions of the area at that time of year”.
