London sunset time: Capital's first 5pm sunset of the year is tonight
After what felt like the longest January in history, we are pleased to see the first signs of spring popping up across the city.
From daffodils and Easter eggs in shops, to snowdrops beginning to rear their weary heads, the sun will be shining bright over London before we know it.

But that all changes today (can we get a hallelujah?) Because the sun will set at 5pm!
That means people leaving off work in the city, will get to catch a glimpse of the sun setting over the River Thames.

Unfortunately, today’s sunset will be marred by cloud and rain (typical London weather!) but as we look ahead to next week, there will be plenty of opportunities to snap a pic of the orange hues.
Here are some amazing places to see the sunset in London.
1. Primrose Hill
2. The Shard
3. Greenwich Park
4. Alexandra Palace
5. Parliament Hill
6. Tower Bridge
7. Thames River Cruise
8. Richmond Park
9. Sky Bar
10. Battersea Park
