It’s going to be a very cold and misty weekend here in London

It’s been all kinds of cold here in London over the past few weeks.

In fact, this week alone we’ve had several weather warnings for ice, rain, and even snow.

There have been torrential downpours, flood alerts, sub-zero temperatures, and icy showers.

And it seems the arctic climes are going to continue in the capital this weekend.

What’s the weather going to be like in London this weekend?

According to the latest Met Office forecast temperatures are expected to drop to -2C tonight.

You’ll need to whack the heating up tonight because the forecaster predicting ‘feels like’ temperatures of -4C.

Tomorrow (Saturday) morning is going to be cold and misty. It will turn sunny around lunchtime but temperatures with remain just above freezing.

Mist is likely to return tomorrow afternoon and evening.

The outlook is much the same for Sunday, although temperatures are expected to reach highs of 3C (practically tropical!)

BBC Weather says: “Extensive and thick fog will persist through much of the day tomorrow *Saturday), struggling to lift for many areas. Bright spells will develop but will be somewhat limited. Staying very cold through the day.

“Sunday will be another dry day with a mix of variable cloud and bright spells, these most frequent in the afternoon. Patchy mist and fog are likely to linger around in the morning. A touch milder.”
