and live on Freeview channel 276
The Boxpark Wembley outlet was the brand’s first physical outlet and the influencers got behind the counter to serve up the chicken burgers.
On the menu at the new-look location is a new hot Nashville-style chicken, dipped in a paprika-spiced oil with five levels of spice to choose from. A new side dish of crispy corn ribs makes its debut.
Sides was developed by the YouTube collective The Sidemen and is a subsidiary of the Hero Brands group, which is behind the German Doner Kebab, Choppaluna and Island Poké chains, as well as XIX Vodka, a further Sidemen brand.
Harry Lewis, aka W2S, of The Sidemen, said: “It was amazing to see so many fans down for the opening of the new unit at Boxpark Wembley and give them a taste of what we have been cooking up with our new menu items.
“Bringing new exciting food to our fans has always been our main goal and we believe that the new sides chicken will really change the market.”
Sides, which is available for delivery, is also bringing in a crispier fried chicken coating, along with new spicy ketchup and a secret sauce.
Robin Mehta, CEO of Sides, said: “It was great to have JJ and Harry down for the launch of our new and improved Sides location at Boxpark Wembley and to see so many fans in attendance as well to taste our game-changing chicken.
“This updated look of our first physical Sides location reflects the true innovative character of the brand and our outlook for the future as we look to bring further large flagship restaurants to the high street and across some of the best UK malls.”
He added: “The exciting upgrade at Boxpark Wembley as well as a number of flavourful menu additions will make it a must-visit for fans.
“Sides is always growing and we have some exciting developments coming up in 2023 as we look to ramp up and develop our restaurant portfolio to 200 physical locations and expand our reach in the UK .”
