This is the route the Crystal Palace FC victory parade could take - according to fans
Speculation among fans suggests that the parade may pass through areas such as Crystal Palace Park, Norwood High Street, Thornton Heath, and Croydon.
Next Monday (26th May 2025), the streets of South London will erupt with the sounds of celebration as Crystal Palace FC makes its victory parade through the city.
The South London team is set to celebrate its historic FA Cup win with an ‘open-top’ bus tour through the city.
While the official route is yet to be confirmed - we expect this to be released in the coming days - the club has told fans to “save the date.”
This parade marks a momentous occasion for the club, celebrating their first major trophy in 164 years. The FA Cup final saw Crystal Palace triumph over Manchester City with a 1-0 victory, thanks to a goal from Eberechi Eze and a crucial penalty save by goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Of course, this sparked conversation among CPFC fans online, who are speculating what route the victory parade will take.
The consensus is that the parade will pass Selhurst Park, the famous stadium home to Crystal Palace.
While some fans on Reddit think an “open top bus tour” doesn’t make sense for the club, others think it is a great idea.
Some Eagles fans would like to see the parade make its way through Crystal Palace Park, which is currently undergoing a large-scale transformation.
Several other fans on Reddit suspect the parade will travel over Crystal Palace Hill, along Norwood High Street, and onwards towards Thornton Heath and Croydon.
Many suspect the parade will conclude at Croydon Town Hall.

Concerns over victory parade through South Norwood
A post on the Football Community Facebook page suggests some residents are less keen on plans for a victory parade.
An anonymous post from a local resident says: “I’m deeply concerned after hearing that Crystal Palace fans are planning an open-top bus ‘celebration’ through our neighbourhood, supposedly to mark their FA Cup win.
“I want to stress - this isn’t just a ‘bit of fun’. We are potentially facing large groups of shirtless-alcohol-fuelled men chanting aggressively, many of whom do not live in our community. The last time there was a “celebration” near Selhurst, several residents reported fireworks and flares being set off by people with no safety training whatsoever. These are pyrotechnics, not party poppers.”
The post, which has amassed more than 400 comments, goes on to complain about potentially offensive chants. Asking if this “is the image of South Norwood we want broadcast across social media?”
Crystal Palace fans responded with comments congratulating the club on their historic win and excitement for the upcoming celebration (whatever that may look like!)
One person wrote: “Well, since Selhurst Park has been in the neighbourhood for 101 years and FA cup wins don’t come around that often, so I think a little bit of celebration is understandable.”
Another said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime event for some players and fans, let them celebrate! Makes a change from some March or another. Think yourself lucky you don’t live in Glastonbury.”
A third wrote: “We have waited forever for a trophy, Wembley was incredible, and we want to continue the celebrations with the parade on Monday. Can’t wait.”
