Following an investigation, Westminster Council says a person in a video circulating on social media is not its employee.

In the footage, the man filming says to a woman behind a gate at sports courts: "You just called me a 'f***ing Jew'."

The woman replies: "Because you're all murdering. You're murdering - genocide - because you're committing genocide. You don't care."

The shouting between the two continues and then the man shouts: "I'm in f***ing London. Do you think I'm a 'f***ing Jew'?"

The woman says: "No, but you're going on at him."

The incident appears to have started when another man tore down a poster highlighting babies kidnapped in the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7.

"It's littering," says the woman, who also says she has torn down posters.

The woman denies being an antisemite, before the man says again: "You just called me a 'f***ing Jew'."

To which she replies: "Yeah, because you're going on at him."

The man doing the filming replies: "Because he's a f***ing h...tore down the posters."

The Campaign Against Antisemitism tweeted at Westminster City Council: "This woman confesses to calling the man filming a “f***ing Jew” because she says he’s “committing genocide”. Her jacket indicates that she is an employee of yours. Please confirm that you will be looking into this at once."

A Westminster City Council spokesperson said: “The individual involved in the video running on social media is not, and has never been a Westminster City Council employee. They worked for a subcontractor eight years ago and they have had no connection to the council. We have notified her former employer. As a council, we condemn any antisemitism or hatred of any kind." The Met Police has been been approached for comment.
