Wembley: Five 14-year-old girls 'racially abused and attacked' on TfL London bus in Brent

Police have released CCTV images of two people they want to speak to after reports five teenage girls were racially abused and assaulted on a London bus.

The 14-year-olds were on an 83 bus in Wembley when police say they were set upon by two "older teenagers".

None of the victims were seriously injured in the incident at around 6.20pm on December 29, police say.

A report was made later that evening and an investigation was launched.

The Met Police says officers have carried out a number of enquiries and has released these CCTV images.

PC Matt Cannon, who is leading the investigation, said: "Thankfully incidents of this nature are incredibly rare on the bus network, however we will not tolerate hate crime and we are working to identify these people as soon as possible."

Anyone who recognises the people in the images is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5443/29Dec.
