Uxbridge: Taser fired in Bakers Yard after man “acted aggressively”

A man has been Tasered in the centre of Uxbridge in front of shoppers.
The incident happened in Bakers Yard, between Boots and Five Guys, on Tuesday July 18.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said that at approximately 2.10pm a man smashed the windscreen of a police car near Uxbridge Underground station and was “acting aggressively”.
They said a Taser was deployed while a man was detained by several officers.
“The 38-year-old was subsequently arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken into custody,” they said. “No officers were injured.”
At least 10 officers arrived at the scene as a crowd gathered around.
The man was heard shouting: “Why have you Tasered me?”
Other people were heard saying: “Why did you do that?”
