Uxbridge assault: Search for stabbing suspect with links to Hampshire after west London attack

The Met Police is looking to trace Sam Gray, 23, who is known to have links in Eastleigh in Hampshire.

A 23-year-old man is wanted by the police after a man and a woman were assaulted in Uxbridge on Friday evening.

Officers were called to the address in Arklay Close at 10.40pm on July 7, where a 19-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were found having been attacked.

The man was taken to a west London hospital with stab wounds, while the woman did not require hospital treatment. The man’s condition has been assessed as non-life changing.

The police have now said they are looking for help tracing 23-year-old Sam Gray, who left the scene prior to officers arriving.

Mr Gray, who is known to the victim, is believed to have driven off in a Peugeot with the registration KP13 KNW. He is also thought to have left London, potentially heading to Eastleigh in Hampshire, where he has links.

Officers have asked anyone with information about Gray’s whereabouts to call 999, using the reference 9153/07JUL if calling from London or 44230273921 if calling from Hampshire.

The public are urged not to approach Gray if they see him, but to call police immediately instead.
