Hackney Wick: ‘Unprovoked assault’ leaves victim with ‘serious injuries’

The Met Police has released CCTV images after a man was seriously injured in the Wallis Road area of Hackney Wick.

Police have released images of two men they want to speak to after an assault last summer left a man with serious injuries.

At shortly after 12.30am on June 26, the victim, in his 20s, left premises in Wallis Road.

Police he did not know the men who attacked him, and that he had not interacted with them during the evening.

The assault left the victim with serious injuries, and the Met said the attack “appears to have been unprovoked and without motive”.

Detectives from the Central East CID launched an investigation and have carried out a number of enquiries.
